At Seeds Wilderness Way, we have seen teens on the brink of destruction find life again—not through behavior modification, but through restored hearts in Jesus and renewed family relationships. We believe the greatest preventative measure against the “snares” of this world—drugs, depression, defiance, etc.—is a home where a teen’s God-given need for love and belonging is met with depth and grace.

During this interactive weekend workshop, you will experience
- Understanding the 5 Motivations of All Behavior: Using a framework of God-given needs to understand what a child’s behavior is trying to communicate.
- The Power of Presence: Moving from “policing” to “listening,” mirroring the way Christ listens to and pursues us.
Assertive - Communication: Learning communication tools to address emotions, hopes/expectations, and choices, all while increasing trust and rapport.
- Listening to Jesus: Equipping parents to move past their own anxiety and listen to the Holy Spirit’s specific guidance for their child.
