Find Your Way
We recognize that every individual is at a different place in their journey with life and with God, so we don’t offer a one-size-fits-all approach to transformation and healing. We have four distinct programs to help people at all different points on the journey: a 40-day teen wilderness program, a 4-day parent and teen intensive, a training retreat for ministry and youth leaders, and a church-based parenting workshop.
Several staff, parents, and students share their experience at Seeds
40 Day Teen Program
The Way in the Wilderness
A 40-day wilderness intensive for teenagers is our core program. Teens join a group of peers and staff for a transformative, heart-focused journey in the backcountry. Personalized discipleship, community, Christian counseling, therapeutic groups and assignments, and experiential learning all encourage a process of deep heart restoration, renewed identity, and new hope for life. Parents are given their own learning track at home while their student is in the wilderness, and join their child for a final “graduation trip” to bring it all together. Each family’s journey with Seeds doesn’t end on day 40. We offer three years of aftercare for each student and family, which includes coaching, family visits, and reunion trips.
The Way in the Family
A rock-solid parent-child relationship is one of the most powerful antidotes to the youth crisis today. This 4-day family intensive is all about helping parents and teens build a foundation for genuine connection with one another, in a beautiful setting where they can disconnect from the noise of the world and reconnect with God and one another. It’s a crash course in trust and relationship-building skills, emotional awareness, and assertive communication, and will guide parents in helping their teen navigate the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Family Intensive Retreat
Parent Teen Intensive
The Sower’s Way
This short training will equip ministry and youth leaders in the same emotional and relational skills we teach our staff—including how to build trust, how to connect deeply, and how to respond well to the tough stuff with youth and families. We’ve found that wilderness and shared experiences are the fastest way for heart-level growth and
discipleship to take place. Leaders will experience this reality for themselves and take away a whole toolbelt of ideas for deepening their impact with young people.
Youth Leader Training
Seeds of Hope
This workshop brings some of the most powerful tools for connection and relational healing we know directly to families in local churches across the United States. It’s a low-cost, high-impact training for churches and families who want to better understand and support teens and prevent teen crises. Parents will learn and practice key skills for listening, building trust, and deepening their connection with their teenagers at this interactive, two-day event.
